Skyline Restaurant Cafe

Posted On Saturday April 7, 2007 By Henri

I miss this little place because it felt like a slice of old New York and because it was part of a little ritual I had. I would stop in here after going to the Whitney and have a burger and fries, often with a shake or piece of pie. It’s not as if they had the best burger and fries but the place just felt so timeless. It was a real treat to go there. Since it closed down I haven’t found another regular spot in the same area. Everything else lacks charm. I took this photo with my cell phone one day because I just knew Skyline wouldn’t last forever.
